AE Light recently introduced another powerful, lightweight tool for the search-and-rescue industry with its 14W HID Power Light. More than a powerful flashlight, the product is a personal searchlight, producing more than 800 lumens of true white light in a compact beam. Smaller and lighter than its big brother—the 24W Power Light, which is also pictured—the PL14 is ideal for law enforcement, border patrol, search and rescue, maritime interdiction and long-range target identification. Protective rubber lens and end caps help with shock absorption, while the end cap also houses the charger receptacle for convenient access when charging. A rechargeable lithium ion battery delivers power to illuminate this powerful flashlight for more than an hour and a half with a full charge, and the battery has a life span of more than 500 charges. It comes with a 100/240 VAC charger with automatic overcharge protection and offers an optional 12/24 VDC charger.
